One of the best beaches in the Philippines for me, not too crowded so you can enjoy yourself more.
Pagudpud is located at far North of Ilocos.
How to get there?
We rode a bus from Espana street (front of UST) Florida or RCJ bus lines.
I
think RCJ is cheaper, it cost me Php650 at that time (April 2011) and
it takes 10-11 hours.. I know it's uncomfortable riding a bus for 10
hours but when you get there, it's worth it..
Usually the bus leaves
at 7pm from Manila bound to Pagudpud, then you can ride a tricycle going
to Saud Beach. It will cost you P50 for the ride.
I suggest to call and book a hotel rooms if you know any.
There are lots of resort/hotels there but if you are in a tight budget I would recommend North Ridge Beach Resort.
I think they have the cheapest Air Condition rooms, at that time it's only php1000 for one night and the room we got has 2 beds and I think 6 or 8 persons can fit in, plus free coffee and drinking water of course and a wifi. can you believe it? for only 1,000 pesos...

Here's Saud Beach.. White powdery sand and cold water.
You can also hire Manong tricycle driver for a tour..
you can choose if you want to go North or South.
the North area I think area where the windmills located.
and the here's the south...
We chose South.. The highlights were Kabigan Falls,, it's a bit tiring cos you have to walk I think it's about 3 or 4 kilometers from the highway to the mountain.. but when you got there it's all worth it, you can enjoy the cold water falls and nature.
Also I really enjoy The Blue Lagoon, it has crystal water and white powdery sands and a few people or foreigners swimming around.
I hope it stays that way, not too crowded.
You can hire Manong Driver for only P600 for the tour.. maximum of 2-3 person..
I would recommend our friend Manong Jun for the tour.. He can pick you anytime from the hotel to Pagudpud town if you want to visit the town.. The foods are great it cost us 50 pesos for the meal.

Yeah I know it's cheap.. but it's the best... AGYAMANAK ILOCOS NORTE!!!
